Abstract
Three recent extralimital records of the Harp Seal, Phoca groenlandica, fro m the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick, are documented. These observations coinc ide with a dramatic increase in extralimital occurrences for this seal alon g the Maine coast from 1994-1996. Winter ocean surface currents may limit t he probability that Harp Seals straying outside their normal range enter th e Bay of Fundy.
