Abstract
The first examples of triple-decker europium(III) sandwich complexes contai ning bis(octaethylporphyrinyl)butadiyne and phthalocyanine have been prepar ed by condensation of NiOEP-C-4-OEPH2 (H(2)1.) and Li2Pc with Eu(acac)(3). H2O. The complexes (Pc)Eu(1)Eu(Pc) and (1)Eu(Pc)Eu(Pc) were characterized b y NMR, IR, Raman, UV-vis, and mass spectra.
