Abstract
The 3D foam geometrical structure is measured by means of optical tomograph
y associated with a reconstruction algorithm. The conductivity of the real
foam is determined by solving the local Laplace equation. Results show that
the foam structure is isotropic, and in good agreement with a formula whic
h predicts the conductivity of a set of infinite planes. (C) 1999 Elsevier
