Langmuir and self-assembled monolayers

Recent advances in Langmuir monolayers include studies of two-dimensional p hase behavior, mesoscopic textures, and rheology. Langmuir-Blodgett techniq ues were shown to have promise for manufacturing monolayers of nanoparticle s. The growth process of self-assembled monolayers was the focus of other i mportant work using a variety of complementary experimental techniques.
