Abstract
A new design and realisation of high performance micromachined millimetre w ave circuits on silicon is presented. Combining the excellent electrical pe rformance of micromachined structures and whispering gallery mode propertie s, an original micromachined dielectric resonator oscillator (MDRO) has bee n realised which operates in the 35GHz region.
