Solid-phase grafting of 4-vinyl pyridine onto isotactic polypropylene (IPP)
resulted in 12.7% grafting at optimized conditions. The chain transfer mec
hanism with solvent for termination of the growing chain resulted in a decr
eased percentage of grafting with increased concentration of the interfacia
l agent. Graft copolymers were characterized by spectral and thermal studie
