Total and transport cross-sections for the elastic collisions between excit
ed (a mu)(n) or (a pi)(n) atom (a = p,d,t) and hydrogen atom are calculated
in the energy range 0.01 eV less than or equal to E less than or equal to
30 eV and the principal quantum number values n=2-10 using the quantum mech
anical approach developed earlier. The theory predicts a strong isotope eff
ect and nontrivial dependence on the negative particle mass, especially for
energy E less than or equal to 0.4 eV.
