Abstract
A good agreement has been found between numerical and experimental investig ation of a 20-Cb/s dispersion-managed soliton transmission system on standa rd fiber, More than 6 dB of power margin over 30 nm has been obtained at 11 00 km by improving the dispersion slope compensation and the prechirping.
