Abstract
Data are discussed on the abundance and chemical composition of chrome -pyrope, magnesian ilmenite, chrome-spinel, chrome-diopside, olivine, and diamond found in alluvial deposits of modern river basins in the R ussian Far East. A kimberlite and lamproite nature for the majority of the minerals is indicated with 50% probability level. Complex anomali es of indicator-minerals have been established within the structure of different zones. These heavy mineral anomalies are treated as the mos t promising areas for finding kimberlite and lamproite magmatism.
