Abstract
In the presence of lithium perchlorate in diethyl ether, LPDE, a three-comp onent reaction between aldehydes, sodium hexamethyldisilazane or lithium he xamethyldisilazane, LHMDS, and different nucleophiles proceeds smoothly to afford primary amines in good yields.
