Abstract
We have successfully developed the first full size synchronous cyclic capil lary electrophoresis system using conventional capillaries, power supply, a nd ultraviolet detector and demonstrated its potential power for separating compounds with very similar electrophoretic mobilities. Although cyclic ca pillary electrophoresis has been demonstrated previously on microchips, thi s new system offers more resolving power, peak capacity, and versatility fo r complex samples.
