Abstract
Vibrational spectra of N,N-dimethyl-N'-(3-nitrobenzoyl)-thiourea (H-DMNBT) (1) and of the N,N-diethyl analogue (H-DENBT) (3) and their changes on form ation of the platinum(TI) complexes Pt(DMNBT)(2) (2) and Pt(DENBT)(2) (4) a re discussed with reference to the structural changes, in addition, H-1- an d C-13-NMR data for 1-4 suggest electron delocalization in the chelate ring s of the complexes 2 and 3.
