Abstract
High-resolution FTIR spectra of the nu(1) bands of both (ND3)-N-14 and (ND3 )-N-15 species were recorded with the Bruker spectrometer in Giessen. The s pectra were assigned using the interactive program combining the Loomis-Woo d technique with ground state combination difference checks. New sets of mo lecular constants of the nu(1) vibrational levels of both isotopomers are p resented. The nu(1) rovibrational energies derived from the frequencies of the assigned transitions have made possible calculations of the Raman trans ition frequencies required for a simulation of the CARS spectra. A satisfac tory agreement of the simulated CARS spectra with the experimental ones was achieved. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
