Raman spectroscopy was applied to investigate the intermolecular interactio
ns in multi-component gel electrolytes consisting of ethylene carbonate and
propylene carbonate, (EC-PC) mixed solvent, lithium salt and PMMA polymeri
c matrix. It is shown that triflate anions tend to essential aggregation in
the EC/PC solvent, which results in a worsening of both mechanical and con
ductive properties of the gel. It is also found that PMMA-based gels with l
ow salt concentration show an obvious macroscopic phase separation, and the
spectroscopic characterization of the different phases is presented. (C) 1
