Abstract
A qualitative model that satisfactorily explains the rheological behavior o f PVC plastisols during gelation and fusion is shown. Several industrial pr oduction cases have been analyzed, and the rheological characterization of the corresponding plastisols during gelation and fusion processes has prove d to be a valuable technique to improve the knowledge and understanding of the industrial rotomolding process.
