Tropical Australian Freshwater Fungi. XV The ascomycete genus Jahnula, with five new species and one new combination

Submerged wood collected in north Queensland, Australia, Mauritius, the Sey chelles and Durban, South Africa, yielded several collections of Ascagilis and Jahnula, including five taxa that could not be assigned to existing spe cies. On examining this range of species it was realized that Ascagilis K.D . Hyde was congeneric with Jahnula Kirschst. The genus is therefore revised and eight species are accepted, including five new species.
