Standard Model contributions to the electron, muon, and tan lepton anomalou
s magnetic moments, al (g(l) - 2)/2, are reviewed and updated. The fine str
ucture constant is obtained from the electron g(e) - 2 and used to refine t
he QED contribution to the muon g(mu) - 2. Recent advances in electroweak a
nd hadronic effects on g(mu) - 2 are summarized. Examples of "New Physics"
probed by the a(mu) Brookhaven experiment E821 are outlined. The prediction
for a(tau) is also given.
