Abstract
An overview of Fermilab experiment FOCUS and of its physics goals will be p resented. During the 96-97 fixed target run at Fermilab we collected more t han 6.3 billion events with the expectation of in excess of 1 million fully reconstructed charmed particles. Preliminary results on charmed mason deca ys will be reported.
