Abstract
A new dynamic laser sheet generator for flow visualization is described:the double xy sweep of a focused laser beam allows light volumes to be obtaine d whose geometrical parameters are easily adjustable; the volume boundaries are well defined and the power density distributions are nearly homogeneou s in the central area.
