Abstract
Trichinellosis is an uncommon condition that is nevertheless a continuing p roblem as shown by two recent outbreaks in our region. The clinical feature s are reviewed briefly. The physical and laboratory test findings in the 11 7 patients affected during the first outbreak (February 1998) are reported as well as the methods used to treat these patients.
