Abstract
Reactions of mercaptans with allyl chloride, hydrobromination of the result ing allyl alkyl sulfides, and condensation of beta-bromoalkyl sulfides with secondary amines were studied. The resulting beta- and gamma-aminoalkyl su lfides wre tested in gas treatment to remove sulfur dioxide.
