Abstract
The crystal structure of Bi2CdO4 was determined from X-ray powder data: a = 1.44948 nm, c = 0.93173 nm, S.G 14(1),/amd, Z = 16, The electrical conduct ivity and the relative ionic fractions of conductivity of pure Bi2CdO4 and doped with the Li2O, PbO and Y2O3, were measured using ceramic samples in t emperature interval from 750 to 850 K, The 15 mol.% lithium-doped material demonstrates the maximum conductivity and the transport number for oxygen i ons near 0.96.
