Abstract
In the 19(th) century, family relationships are demonstrable at the k.k. Th ierarzneiinstitut, later veterinary university, between the professors Joha nn Emanuel Veith (*1787 - dagger 1876), Johann Elias Veith (*1789 - dagger 1885), Franz Anton Muller (*1817 - dagger 1905) and Johann Nepomuk Csokor ( *1849 - dagger 1911). Genealogical data of the family Veith and their desce ndants over 5 generations are reported, close familiar and social contacts are demonstrable in various details.
