Abstract
The thermal diffusion coefficient and enthalpy of transport of normal carbo xylic acids in aqueous solution are determined by a model which is describe d in our previous paper. The modified Soret coefficient and enthalpies of t ransport of the ionic and molecular species are also calculated. Results of the calculations support the suggestion, that the difference between the m odified enthalpies of transport of the species is nearly identical to the e nthalpy of dissociation. The values of Soret coefficients show regularity i n the function of carbon number, namely, the Soret coefficients increase wi th the molecular mass.
