Abstract
A simple method for the research and the identification of chlorinated solv ents in biological fluids and tissues is described. The solvents are extrac ted using headspace solid-phase microextraction and detected or measured by gas chromatography with electron capture detector. Three accidental poison ings are reported: one with carbon tetrachloride, one with trichlorethylene and the last one is a double intoxication with tetrachloroethylene and tri chlorethylene.
