Hypotony, shallow anterior chamber, and myopic shift following blunt trauma

A patient with decreased vision was noted to have hypotony, a shallow anter ior chamber, and a myopic shift following blunt trauma to the eye. The cycl odialysis cleft noted on gonioscopic examination was the likely cause of th e findings in this patient. Following spontaneous closure of the cleft, the intraocular pressure increased, the lens and iris returned to their normal position and the patient's vision returned to 20/20 uncorrected.
