Abstract
Although lamellar refractive surgery has been used to treat myopia for some time, the stability of the procedure is still a concern. This article prop oses a method for predicting long-term effectiveness of the surgery by usin g the mathematical formula for measuring stress in thin-walled shells to ev aluate corneal stress before and after surgery if the predicted safety fact or before surgery is too low, then the use of this surgery should he recons idered.
