Abstract
Osteomas of the paranasal sinuses are common. Most are, however, asymp tomatic and a chance radiographic finding. We describe four case histo ries which help to illustrate the benefits and hazards of surgery, and highlight the importance of patient selection. A review of the litera ture is presented.
