A complex study of colloidochemical properties of cationic surfactant solut
ions (salts of C-12-C-18 aliphatic amines) was preformed, Characteristics o
f the adsorption layer and micellar phase were determined from the equilibr
ium surface tension isotherms. Correlation dependences of the works of adso
rption and micellization on the differential heats of adsorption were estab
lished. The character of the interaction of hydrophobic radicals and the ra
tio between ionic and molecular forms of amine in a micellar phase were det
ermined by H-1 NMR spectroscopy. Correlation between H-1 NMR spectroscopic
parameters and the heats of lateral and electrostatic interactions determin
ed in the kinetic model of adsorption was established.
