Abstract
The charging of the surfaces formed during the cohesive fracture of an adhe sive joint and the dependence of the values of the charges on the cohesive strength of the fractured material were detected by measuring the intensity of the electron emission during the fracture of aluminum-epoxy resin adhes ive joints after their exposure to water.
