Abstract
This paper presents some insights into Jordan's energy consumption in the r ural residential sector. 18% of the country's total energy is consumed by t he residential sector. The rural residential sector share is only 16% of th e country's residential energy consumption. Kerosene and bottled LPG are th e main sources of energy in the rural residential sector.
