Twin-twin transfusion syndrome is a complication of monochorionic twin preg nancies associated with extremely high perinatal morbidity and mortality, t his article describes the ultrasound features associated with this conditio n and possible pathophysiological mechanisms. Management options am outline d, including recent developments such as laser ablation of placental vascul ar communications.
