Abstract
Reduction-substitution reactions between high valent [ReOCl4] [NBu4] or [Re NCl4] [NBu4] complexes and the phenyldithiocarboxylate piperidinium salt le ad to a novel rhenium(III) complex with mixed coordination sphere. The stru cture of this compound [Re(S3CPh)(2)(S2CPh)], containing two trithioperoxyb enzoate and one dithiobenzoate ligands, has been elucidated by NMR, mass sp ectrometry and X-ray diffraction analysis, (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A.
