Abstract
This paper presents a closed form analytical solution to the augmented Youn g-Laplace equation for the meniscus profile in two-dimensional wedge- and s lit-shaped capillaries. The solution is valid for conditions of complete an d incomplete wetting and for any form of the disjoining pressure function. (C) 1999 Academic Press.
