Abstract
Two samples of ferronematics based on 8CB liquid crystal with different vol ume fractions of magnetic particles were prepared. The influence of magneti c field on the electric Fredericksz transition was studied in these samples using magneto-dielectric measurements. The Burylov-Raikher's theory was ap plied for the used experimental arrangement. A qualitative comparison of ob tained experimental data with this theory was made and a good agreement was found.
