Recently, a model for the negative viscosity effect was proposed in form of
a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). We transform this set of
ODEs in order to simplify its numerical integration. We investigate the lim
its of these equations for the case of small frequencies and small amplitud
es of the exciting magnetic field and compare the numeric results with the
