Abstract
This paper examines the dynamic characteristics of liquid columns when late ral sinusoidal vibration is applied. The first, second and third resonant f requencies shift to a higher frequency region as the magnetic held intensit y increases. For a magnetic fluid column, the second and third resonant fre quencies show interesting behaviour as the magnetic held is varied. (C) 199 9 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
