Abstract
Two new dibromotyrosine-derived metabolites (1 and 2) and the known compoun ds bastadin-6, bastadin-16, purealidin P, purealidin G, and aplysamine-2 an d its ammonium salt have been isolated from the sponge Psammaplysilla purpu rea. Compounds 1 and 2 were characterized by interpretation of their spectr al data.
