Abstract
DESIGN capacity limits the growth of many monolithic-microwave-integrated-c ircuit (MMIC) foundries. By comparing the MMIC design process to a manufact uring process, and intelligently applying design automation, it is possible to increase design efficiency and improve the overall efficiency of any se miconductor foundry.
