Abstract
Zwitterionic or charge separated molecules with high ground state dipole mo ment can be very attractive as doping chromophores for low glass transition temperature photorefractive polymers. On a molecular level, measurements o n zwitterionic compounds in solution lead to high predicted factor of merit which we actually observe in a zwitterionic molecules doped polymer.
