Abstract
We are at the dawn of unconventional superconductivity. After a brief surve y on some of the unconventional superconductors, we describe some salient f eatures of the vortex state in d-wave superconductivity as in the hole dope d high T-c cuprates and in p-wave superconductivity in recently discovered Sr2RuO4.
