Superconducting state around impurities in the high-T-c superconductors is
studied using the two-dimensional t-J model for various geometrical configu
rations. The spatial dependence of the order parameter and the local densit
y of states are calculated by the numerical diagonalization of the Bogoliub
ov-de Gennes equation derived using the Gutzwiller approximation. Geometric
al configuration effect of impurities are studied in detail. (C) 1999 Elsev
