Abstract
This paper studies geometric properties, in particular extreme points and r ays, of various generalizations of Young measures. Applications of the know ledge of extreme points are illustrated on existence results for optimal co ntrol problems and on various convergence results for Young measures by usi ng the Choquet theory.
