Abstract
The ease of electrochemical oxidation, of phenol frotn waste water was esti mated by using the so-called electrochemical oxidability index (EOI). This index, was calculated from the instantaneous current efficiency-time (ICE-t ) curves: for a dopped SnO2 anode. The dependence of the average current ef ficiency on pH is also discussed.
