Abstract
This study deals with SnO2-based inert anodes aiming at contributing new da ta regarding their electrochemical behaviour in cryolite melts of tipical c omposition and temperature by overvoltage and cyckic coltametry measurement s. The current efficiency was determined by measuring total amount of oxyge n evolved and the influence of current density and interpolar distance upon this anode were evaluated.
