Non-linear dynamics and chaotic behaviour (II)

The purpose of this article is to present the main topics concerning the mo dern research field of nonlinear dynamics and chaotic behaviour We present the main methods used to identify the attractors of the dynamical systems. We focused our attention on the Liapunov exponents, which give us a quantit ative characterisation for the behavoiur of a dynamical system (paragraph V II). We discussed in this second part of the article both the case of theor etical models and the case of experimental systems. Our task was to familia rize the reader whit the basic aspects concerning nonlinear dynamics and ch aotic behaviuor.
