Abstract
A single crystal structure analysis of Rb2Li4(SeO4)(3). 2H(2)O is performed . Rb2Li4(SeO4)(3). 2H(2)O has a monoclinic symmetry (space group P2(1)/c, Z = 2), Lattice parameters at room temperature are: a = 5.256(1) Angstrom, b = 5.178(1) Angstrom, c = 26.739(5) Angstrom, beta = 93.11(3)degrees, and V = 726.6(2) Angstrom(3). The final discrepancy factor for the structure det ermination is R = 0.0422. The structural disordering in Rb2Li4(SeO4)(3). 2H (2)O has been observed at room temperature. No anomalies have been revealed on temperature dependencies of the lattice parameters of these crystals (o btained from the single-crystal measurements and the powder diffraction dat a) over the temperature range from 30 to 302 K.
