Abstract
Neutral bis(tetrathiafulvalenyldithiolato) cobalt complexes (1a - 1c) have been synthesized, whose room-temperature electrical conductivities (sigma(r t)'s) are 10(-4) - 10(-10) S . cm(-1) The SQUID measurement showed that the cobalt atom is in the state of Co(II) (S = 1/2). Addition of an equimolar amount of tetramethylthio-substituted TTF (4) to la brought about marked in crease by ca. 10(7) in the sigma(rt) value.
