Abstract
We have measured the temperature dependence of the spectrum and the spin-la
ttice relaxation time T-1, by D-2 nuclear-magnetic-resonance (NMR) for alph
a-(h(8)-ET)(2)ND4Hg(SCN)(4) and H-1-NMR for alpha-(d(8)-ET)(2)NH4Hg(SCN)(4)
in order to clarify the molecular dynamics of the non-centrosymmetric ND4 and NH4+ ions. Both the systems show the peak in T-1(-1) around 40 K expla
ined by Bloembergen-Purcell-Pound model, while the temperature dependence o
f the spectra were quite different.
