Abstract
We report the optical properties of molecular conductor (IEDT)[Pd(dmit)(2)] . We observed a striking peak in the spectral range around 11000 cm(-1) for the Light polarized along the dimeric direction. This peak suggests the st rong dimerization of Pd(dmit)(2) molecules, leading the inversion between H OMO and LUMO energy levels of Pd(dmit)(2). This peak intensity enables to e stimate the charge transfer rho similar to 0.35 from IEDT to Pd(dmit)(2).
